Healing Starts Inside the Box.
Change Happens Outside the Box.

We believe in meeting Black girls where they are and equipping them to lead where they're going.

Our programs provide immediate, culturally affirming support inside the box while building pathways to
leadership, advocacy, and systemic change outside the box.

Inside the Box

Immediate mental health support for Black girls
ages 10-18 and their families.

MH Boxes' Healing in a Box portfolio delivers immediate support that reduces stigma, strengthens family systems, and builds pathways to resilience and care through tangible tools, caregiver capacity building, creative peer spaces, and financial assistance.

Mental Health Boxes Delivery Program

Our flagship program provides 1,500+ care packages annually with edible affirmations, fidgets, mindfulness tools, and curated resources. Distributed through schools, community centers, and referrals, these boxes remind Black girls: You are worthy. You matter. You belong.

Hey Girl, How'd We Do?

Have you already unboxed a box?
We'd love to hear from you!

Guiding Groundwork

Caregiver Education & Workshops

One-day interactive workshops equip caregivers with culturally responsive mental health tools, stress management strategies, and communication skills.

Each participant leaves with a Family Action Plan, reflection journal, and resource guide.

Bricks and Bonds

Mental Health Workshops for Girls

Culturally affirming spaces where Black girls ages 10-18 connect and heal through LEGO-based building activities and trauma-informed healing circles.

Peer connection is a proven protective factor against isolation, depression, and suicide.

Bridges to Care

Financial Assistance Fund

When cost is a barrier, we remove it. Rapid-response financial support for urgent mental health costs like therapy, medication, hospitalization, or transportation.

Families receive direct assistance along with referrals to long-term resources.

Outside the Box

Building pathways to leadership, advocacy, and systemic change.

Our vision is to empower Black girls not only to receive mental health supports but to lead systemic change. These future programs will build youth leadership, amplify voices in policymaking, create pathways to careers in mental health, and provide mentorship that strengthens resilience and representation.
